Established in 2010, the University International College (UIC) provides degree and non-degree language programs, student exchange programs, study abroad programs, and language proficiency tests. UIC strives to nurture academic talents who excel in both academic rigor and practical application.
UIC offers Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Language Studies, with concentrations in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Our Postgraduate Programs include:
Master's Degrees:
· Master of Arts in Foreign Language Studies (Spanish, Portuguese, or English)
· Master in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language
Doctoral Degrees:
· Doctor of Philosophy in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language

· Doctor of Philosophy in Education
UIC is also responsible for providing College Chinese and English courses for the University’s General Education program, and ongoing training and development courses for teaching staff.
UIC is distinguished by its diverse, specialized, and highly qualified team of educators. Foreign language courses are taught by native-speaking professors. There are over 40 full-time faculty members with doctoral degrees, including doctoral supervisors. A number of teachers have been honored with the University's Outstanding Teaching Award, and faculty research has resulted in nearly a hundred publications in prominent journals, including those indexed internationally and in core Chinese databases such as the Peking University Core.
With the benefit of Macao's multilingual environment and the university's multilingual teaching resources, UIC actively promotes academic research in fields such as economics, society, culture, linguistics, and education. To this end, UIC has established several academic platforms, including: “B&R” Training Center for Chinese Language Education in Portuguese/ Spanish Speaking Worlds, National Language Promotion Base at Fudan University Macau Partner Base, CASS-MUST Joint Linguistics Laboratory, MUST-PKU Joint Research Center for Language, Culture and Education in Portuguese and Education in Portuguese and Spanish Speaking Countries/Regions, Macao Center for Research of Latin America, Center for International Education, Macao, Center for International Education, Macau-Hengqin Base, IELTS Test Centre, Exam Centre of DELE, Celpe-Bras Examination Centre, Advanced TESOL Certificate Online Modules and Exam Centre, and the Phonetics and Speech Laboratory. UIC also has the Language Studio, where students can engage in learning exchange with teachers of various languages.
UIC offers winter and summer programs, as well as semester-exchange opportunities to all MUST students. These programs enable students to study abroad at renowned universities worldwide, fostering global academic and cultural exchange. See International Exchange for details.
